Line lesson 2 : Turtle

After we learn previous post, i told the kids that we're gonna make this lovely turtle full of line.
First we draw a big turtle. I'm not let the kids to use pencil, so they can draw it carefully, cos they know once they made a mistake, thay cant erase it. Then we make turtle shell, and fill it with various line that they recently learn. I get this idea from here.

Line lesson

Since i teach the artpool, i realize i never teach this lesson to the kids. I think learning to make a line is very important for kids. They will know various line like zigzag, curly, diagonal, etc. And oh i got this really cool lesson from here. First, the kid think that this lesson gonna be bored them. But when they know they will color it with watercolor they get excited. After i teach this lesson, i make a turtle full of lines. Read my next post. :)

Bunny Face

"Bunny Face"

This week we make bunny face.
First, colour the background using watercolour. While wait till it dry, kids draw a bunny face and colour it with crayon. Next, cut the bunny face and stick onto background.
Kids love to hang their art in their room, so i decided to cut origami paper and stick at paper side so it will look like a frame.

Blue..blue.. sky..

Today, our art theme is sky. So we draws anything in the sky.
There's an airplane, butterfly, bees, birds.
You just need paper, crayon and watercolour.
First make a background, draw clouds with white crayon. Colour the blue sky with watercolour.
Next, draw anything your kids saw in the sky. Cut it, and stick onto background..

Tapestry : Romantic puppet

This is my first tapestry. It tooks 6 months to make this tapestry. It's very difficult to make this. I learn from my lecture. In indonesia, he's the most productive fiber art artist and he's so famous here.. his name is Biranul Anas. I used 2 technique here, tapestry and embroidery. Tapestry is for background, and embroidery for the puppet and flower. Pin It

Little dee batik

When i was in college, i learn about batik. It was fun to make batik, even the technique is so hard for me.. i'm lazy girl actually, hohohoo...
This one i made for my self..people called me little dee cos i'm little :) and there's a two elephant and tiger. Flower everywhere, and some kids. I really really love this cute batik..

between Jakarta & Yogyakarta

This is my first painting. It's about my boyfriend aput who lives in two city. One city is Jakarta, u can see there's monas, busway and ondel-ondel. The other side is Yogyakarta. A beautiful city where u can see candi borobudur, mount merapi and many more.
